IT Resource Planning Analyst

Our client is looking for an IT Resource Planning Analyst. This position will create and analyze IT resource plans to meet enterprise needs. Incorporates aspects of finance, marketing, and operations. An analyst creates procedures for work processes, analyzes their effectiveness, and coordinates with team members in varying roles.

Responsibilities Include:

  • 8+ years of experience as resource planning analyst.
  • Accurately collating real-time data to ensure up to date intra-day forecasts and accuracy in resource forecasting calculations.
  • Track offline requests and/or activities that impact on business unit performance.
  • To ensure sufficient resource is available to meet workload demands.
  • Produce effective resource scheduling to maximize performance and meet KPI’s /SLA.
  • Complete regular analysis of planned vs. actual call volumes and provide reporting on headcount and FTE levels including variance to budget.
  • Liaise, interact and influence across the operational management teams on all matters resource planning related.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Government background check.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment is essential
  • Excellent keyboard skills to include Microsoft Word, Intermediate Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in using a Workforce Management System (WFM)
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and follow strict processes
  • Highly numerate with good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organized and able to work on own initiative when required
  • Good communication skills
